Function-forward, human-centered interior design.
Our niche interior design and space planning studio values strategic space planning that is practical, efficient, and evolves with your everyday lifestyle. Our services aim to enhance productivity and overall well-being. Placing focus on functionality can free up square footage (with multifunctional solutions) and mental bandwidth (through smart circulation, key adjacencies, and storage solutions), carving out more space and time for activities that support your health, focus, and happiness.
We play with design elements in creative ways that reflect your favorite styles and the energy you're looking to bring into each space, developing an aesthetic that is uniquely yours. We cultivate a fun, collaborative experience and want to help you grow your design thinking skills so that you have the tools to adapt your space and organizational systems with each new milestone in life.
Principal Designer
A multidisciplinary designer with over 15 years of professional experience in interior design and space planning, founder Allison Carroll brings a unique blend of skills and perspectives to her work.
With a versatile résumé of professional roles and project types within Commercial Office & Retail Design, Residential Design, and Brand Experience Design, Allison has a diverse arsenal of skill sets and experiences that inform her proven ability to design multifunctional spaces that spark productivity, wellness, and joy.
She cross-pollinates disciplines, creatively translating her workplace strategy, storage capacity/occupancy planning, wayfinding, and navigation practices to residential layouts, while lending her “form follows function” design school roots and function-forward Scandinavian design influence to her office and retail projects. Through her work in brand strategy, she honed her visual communication and storytelling abilities - skills that effectively deepened her understanding of design psychology and help her capture each client’s personality and vibe in her human-centered, stylistically-eclectic body of work.
Allison is forever indebted to the Hospitality industry, not only for its influence on her ability to create dynamic social spaces that seamlessly transition for maximum fun retention, but especially for her mise en place-inspired approach toward efficiency. This, and her time spent specifying and installing modular furniture and organizational systems in retail and office spaces, changed the way she approaches designing multifunctional spaces and how she coaches clients on how to evolve and adapt them with life changes over time.
