Interior Design. Visualization. Coaching.
We develop easy to implement, smart design solutions for your home and help you envision your space through sketches, 3D views, and more.

We believe that a function-forward approach to designing the spaces where we live and work is self-care. We prioritize strategic, upfront space planning centered around your goals and unique set of needs, aiming to maximize your space and carve out more room for the things that make you happy.

How it Works
Strategize.
We’ll kick off with a virtual discovery call, chatting through your project goals and taking a look at your space. We’ll customize a project approach and timeline and share a cost estimate for the projected scope of work. Once all looks good, we’ll firm up next steps.
Plan.
Following onsite measurements and documentation, we’ll move into space planning and schematic design. We start by creating floor plans from the site survey and explore layout options. Once aligned, we’ll move into focus mode and start production of your final deliverables.
Design.
We’ll finalize your design and provide you with an implementation road map. We’re available for add-on coaching sessions along the way so you have a teammate while you work through your creative process and make design decisions.

Activity zones with carefully-selected furniture sizes and many dual-function pieces maximize the use of a small space.
Case Study:
Small Space Living: 1-Bedroom Seattle Apartment
After spending many years in Boston, Ehsan awoke to an email one day with a dream job offer on the west coast. After a short period of deliberation, the deal was sealed, and just like that he was preparing a relocation to Seattle. He sold all his furniture, headed west, began his apartment hunt, and landed a great spot with a beautiful view. As a man with many hobbies and side projects who enjoys entertaining local friends and frequently hosts out-of-town guests, he’s always been particularly thoughtful about interior design and enjoys the creative process.
Between concluding research on the east coast while starting a new job in a new city, time was not on his side, so he enlisted Phase Design Studio’s help in developing a strategic layout direction with recommended furniture types and sizes that maximized his use of a small space. He had a vision for a fresh, modern style so, on his own time, he sourced his furniture (checking in for design advice during our coaching sessions along the way) and brought his space to life!
